The Shambhala Meditation Group of Saint John is a local group of meditation practitioners inspired by the Shambhala teachings of basic goodness and enlightened society. We are affliated with Shambhala International whose spiritual head is the Sakyong, Mipham Rinpoche.
Our members come from a variety of religious and spiritual viewpoints. Our commonality is seeking mindfulness and awareness in our daily live
We meet Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. at the Portland United Church, 50 Newport Cres. in Saint John, NB. We offer meditation instruction to newcomers on their first visit. All are warmly welcome, Buddhist and non-Buddhist alike.
